  一、動(dòng)詞

  時(shí)態(tài)一致

  1. 含義：

  前后句的時(shí)態(tài)要保持一致。

  例如：People are queuing for the test right now so the organizer is asking everyone to wear masks.

  2. 用法：

  (2) 過(guò)去時(shí)

  (2) 過(guò)去時(shí)

  a) 一般過(guò)去時(shí)

  i. 定義：過(guò)去發(fā)生的動(dòng)作或狀態(tài);過(guò)去習(xí)慣性、經(jīng)常性的動(dòng)作、行為。

  ii. 標(biāo)志詞：once/in 1980/yesterday/last week/two years ago…

  iii. 動(dòng)詞形式：did/ was / were

  iv. 例句：

  1. I didn't realize you were exhausted.

  2. When I was a child, I often played football in the street.

  b) 過(guò)去進(jìn)行時(shí)

  i. 定義：過(guò)去某個(gè)時(shí)間正在發(fā)生或進(jìn)行的行為或動(dòng)作。

  ii. 動(dòng)詞形式：was/were doing

  iii. 例句：

  1. At that time she was working in a department store.

  2. Students were doing the covid test this morning.

  c) 過(guò)去完成時(shí)

  i. 定義：“過(guò)去的過(guò)去”：即以過(guò)去某個(gè)時(shí)間為標(biāo)準(zhǔn)，在此以前發(fā)生的動(dòng)作或行為，或在過(guò)去某動(dòng)作之前完成的行為。

  ii. 動(dòng)詞形式：did/was/were + had done

  iii. 例句：

  1. As soon as we got to the station, the train had left.

  d) 過(guò)去將來(lái)時(shí)

  i. 定義：立足于過(guò)去某一時(shí)刻，從過(guò)去看將來(lái);通常出現(xiàn)在賓語(yǔ)從句中。

  ii. 標(biāo)志詞：did/was/were + would do

  iii. 例句：

  1. He said he would go to Chicago tomorrow morning.

  2. Mary’s background in physics and chemistry provided her with a unique skillset that would serve her well for the rest of her career.
