  A: I would guess that some advantages to intensive training at a young age are that the child becomes goal focused and learns early that they must work hard in life to achieve something. Perhaps they will spend all their time training instead of maintaining friendships and doing their schoolwork.

  A: Sports stars must surely be used to competition. After all，the word “star” suggests that they are professional, and they must know that competition is part of the job.

  A: Perhaps it is possible. It is important to have a healthy work-life balance in any job，and a sporting profession shouldn’t be any different. Maybe some sports players become too obsessed with their sport. Usually the career of a sports player is a short one, so if all their focus is on their sport and on the competition... what happens when it is no longer there?
