  1.How many languages can you speak?[Why/Why not?]

  參考答案 Well, that's not actually an easy question.I would say two, with any kind o參考答案 proficiency; Chinese and English. I did learn some other languages when I was in high school,but I really only remember a few phrases.I wouldn't say I could holda conversation in them now.

  2. How useful will English be to you in your future?[Why/Why not?]

  參考答案 Oh, enormously. It's why I'm here doing this test. I hope to study in the UK next year and,needless to say,all of my lectures will be in English. On top of that I wil need to be able to get around, you know, in taxis and on trains in order to get the daily necessities like food and paying the bills et cetera.

  3. What do you remember about learning languages at school? [Why/Why not?]

  參考答案 I think the thing I remember most about learning languages is the constant driling of vocabulary and the end tests, making sure that you have remembered all the new words. I know that vocabulary is obviously a very important element of any lan- guage, but it was just so boring to do. Luckily, for me anyway, I got on quite wel wilb my English teacher at my school who made the lessons as interesting as possible. She didn't always succeed.

  4. What do you think would be the hardest language for you to learn?[Why?]

  參考答案 English,without a shadow of a doubt. It's just so different to my native language of Chinese. The structure, the grammar, even how we think about things is,inp opinion，the bipolar opposite(完全相反的).Why and how you structure your language still confuses me even now.
