微信在2011年初首次發(fā)布，在(推出)的15個(gè)月內(nèi)吸引了1億的注冊(cè)用戶。

It's an instant-messaging app made by Tencent, one of the largest Internet service providers in China.

它是一個(gè)即時(shí)消息的軟件，是中國(guó)最大的互聯(lián)網(wǎng)服務(wù)提供商之一的騰訊公司推出的。

 

From sending quick voice messages to posting video and making online payments, WeChat is an all-you-can-use mobile service.

從快速發(fā)送語音消息到發(fā)布小視頻和在線支付，微信是一個(gè)全能的移動(dòng)服務(wù)。

For example, a function called “shake” allows WeChat users within a certainradius to find each other by shaking their cellphones.

比如說，一個(gè)叫做“搖一搖”的功能讓微信用戶在一定的距離內(nèi)，搖動(dòng)手機(jī)就可以找到彼此。

Also, WeChat status updates are private.

并且，微信狀態(tài)更新是保護(hù)個(gè)人隱私的。

Only added friends can see and comment your status from your WeChat activity timeline.
